Unitarian Universalist Women's Federation of Westport (UUWF)

The UUWF-Westport is a unit of the Continental UUWF, an affiliate of the UUA whose mission is to advocate for women in our UU community and to celebrate our accomplishments. Our Westport unit is committed to the support and empowerment of women. We invite all women of our congregation to attend our bi-monthly potlick luncheons, announced in Soundings. These luncheons are attended by up to twenty women. The co-chairs will often invite new members and previous attendees by phone, a system that conveys our warmth and friendliness. we also assist mothers with finding childcare so that they will be able to attend our activities.

We are financially independent. Although not required to participate, we invite new members to join the UUWF-Westport and the Continental UUWF for $30.00 per year, which allows you to receive their publication, The Communicator.

The UUWF-Westport is currently undergoing an exciting transition period. we are exploring the needs of women in our growing congregation and invite women to join in planning for our future. new ideas are always welcome.
